It was a time of great celebration as Federal Medical Center, Abuja appreciated Great Men and Women who have served and contributed in no small measure to the success we see and are part of today in our prestigious institution. It was the celebration of our 2022 Retirees and Departmental Best Staff of the year awards.
In the opening, the Chief Medical Director-CMD, Prof. Saad Aliyu, appreciated them for their work and contributions, that the team members left in the institution are carrying on with their good legacy. He enjoined them to let go of all errors and misunderstandings with colleagues as it all happened in the line of duty. He mentioned that he sees the input of everyone and is grateful for the opportunity to have worked together.
While Congratulating the Winners of the Departmental Best Staff awards as they are the ones who made up for the lack of others.
The Head of Administration, Alh Musa Sani Ibrahim, stated that the CMD wants the motivation of every staff and enjoined the award winners to use this gesture to do more, He congratulated the retiree on a successful completion of service. To the other staff members he encouraged to be of good service as whatever has a beginning must have an end and Planning for the future is important for retirement.
Mrs Momoh Aisha, tagged the CMD an ambassador of welfare because of his care and interest in the progress of every staff. letting the senior citizens know that they are retired and not tired cos their service continues. She thanked the Award winners. She appreciated everyone for coming.
The Head of Clinical Services- Dr Joseph Ezechila encouraged everyone, to continue the good work.
Dr John a representative of the Award winning staff, thanked the management for the awards and pointed that it’s an award for everyone in the various departments, as everyone had functioned in different parts.
Mrs Uchewere Stella, spoke on behalf of the retirees, while proclaiming the CMD as a worthy leader. She is grateful to God for the grace. She encouraged the people in the system to put in their best. sow seeds that will stand the test of time.
