Earlier today The Federal Medical Centre Abuja held her SERVICOM Inauguration and launching of the 1st edition of Service Charter.
The main aim of the event was to proffer better ways in improving effective service delivery among the staff and the management of the hospital to the public.
The Keynote speaker of the event Mrs. Nnenna Akajiemel the National Coordinator/CEO, SERVICOM Presidency expressed great joy with what the management of the Hospital has put in place in terms of service delivery. She applauds the innovative idea of Prof Saad Ahmed towards the realization of the Service Charter for the Hospital.
Mrs. Nnenna appreciates immensely the leadership of The Medical Director FMC Abuja Prof. Saad Ahmed with the quality of service delivery in the Hospital down to proper cleanliness within and around the Hospital environment compared to other FMCs.
She urged the management to push further the service delivery for the Hospital to become a world class institution through giving more attention to patient, satisfaction as the focus point.
According to her, the Service Charter will assist FMC Abuja to be more effective in satisfying the patients. She urged the management to see the patients as Kings because they serve as key players in the existence and growth of the Hospital.
In the remarks of the Medical Director Prof. Saad Ahmed, he appreciates the immense support he is enjoying from the staff toward achieving his primary objectives of gearing FMC Abuja into a world class Hospital. Stating that the support has taken the hospital to the level it is now.
Highlights of the event includes welcome address by the Chief Host, Prof. Saad Ahmed (Medical Director FMC Abuja), Opening Remark by the Nodal Officer, SERVICOM FMC Abuja Dr. Omage C.S, Keynote address by National Coordinator/CEO, SERVICOM Presidency, Mrs Nnenna Akajiemeli and a brief remarks by the Director, Reforms Coordinator and Service Improvement (Federal Ministry of Health) U.B Saad represented by Mr Chimaze Okore.
And lunching of the 1st Edition of the Service Charter Federal Medical Centre Abuja, also presentation of awards.
The event also had three lecture sessions delivered by Mrs. Ternege Nypira who spoke on Customer Care and Staff Attitude, while Mrs. Jummai Abdullahi talked on Stakeholders Management and Mrs Nnenna Akajiemeli gave lecture on Leaving a Legacy.
